| Since P K Saunders invented the original diaphragm valve in 1928, and founded Saunders Valve Co. five years later, Saunders has led the way in providing the highest standards of reliability, engineering and safety. The range has been continually expanded over 75 years through innovation in both design and new materials technology. As a result the Saunders® diaphragm valve has gained a widespread reputation for its versatility, and has established a presence in various process industry sectors. In recent months we’ve been developing a new strategy for Saunders® that builds on our 75 year heritage of innovation. Our aim is to position Saunders as a modern, innovative brand with a strong pedigree, unique scientific expertise and a clear vision for the future. As a result you will see new products targeted at specific markets, shorter lead times, revitalized branding and packaging. The Saunders mark has remained almost unchanged since the company was launched in 1933. As part of our strategy of re-positioning the company as an innovator, and to commemorate our 75th Anniversary we refreshed our logo to reflect our strength.
